What’s in a SmartBulk Shipment?
Every week, we review your reservation activity and send you only what you need to cover those upcoming stays.
Products are packed in bulk (not by reservation), so your team can grab what they need and create kits however they like.
How It’s Scheduled
SmartBulk shipments typically arrive once per week, usually on Thursdays, though that day can be adjusted to match your ops schedule.
We look at your departure calendar and calculate how much product you’ll need for the following Monday through Sunday—and we ship exactly that amount.
So if you have 12 reservations next week, you’d get, for example, 12 bathroom kits, 12 welcome bundles, and enough paper goods to match—though the list of products shipped is always based on your unique selections.
What the Manifest Tells You
Each SmartBulk shipment comes with a Shipping Manifest that includes:
- Tracking numbers
- What’s inside each box
- Quantities by product type
- Box numbers to help you unpack in the right order
If you’re looking for paper goods, the manifest will tell you they’re in Boxes 3 and 4. Need bathroom kits? Open Box 1. No guessing required.
How Your Team Uses It
SmartBulk gives your team control over how kits get assembled on the ground.
Here’s how most teams use it:
- Reference the manifest to find what you need
- Unpack and organize products by type
- Build your own kits for each reservation using sojo items (and any extras from other sources, if needed)
- We even include the home configurations (i.e. 2 bathroom, 1 kitchen) to make building and prepping even easier
- Pack and prep for turns on your own timeline
This setup is ideal if you’re using sojo to supplement your existing inventory or want more say in how items are placed or bundled.
