Safety Stock Auto-Replenishment

What is safety stock?
- Safety stock is your back stock or the products you'll have on hand in the event of a last-minute reservation.
How should I plan for safety stock?
- Our onboarding team will help you get set up with your initial safety stock order but we recommend having about 20% of the total goods you'd need to stock your full inventory of homes.
- So...what does that mean?
  - Let's break down that math to give you an idea of what this would look like for you. If you have 100 properties (and 20 have half baths) and have chosen to include 1 roll of paper towels per reservation and 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom, your safety stock order would be:
    - 20 full bath sets
    - 20 kitchen + laundry sets
    - 4 half bath sets
    - 20 rolls of paper towels
    - 20 rolls of toilet paper
Do I need to manually place safety stock orders?
- Nope! Our system will recognize when you have a last minute reservation, and automatically replenish the products you pulled, the following week. These orders are referred to as "Auto-Replenish."
What is auto-replenish?
- If a reservation is booked after the shipping cutoff window (1 day before your shipment leaves our warehouse), it's considered "last-minute." Each week, the system reviews any "last-minute" reservations and places an order to replenish the safety stock you used.
How are auto-replenish orders shipped?
- Currently, all auto-replenish orders leave our warehouse weekly on Thursdays regardless of your delivery plan. The ETA of the products will depend on your transit time from our warehouse in Clarksville, TN. You will receive a shipping manifest that summarizes orders for the last-minute reservations included in your auto-replenish shipment.
