Delivery Plans & Shipping Cutoffs
📦 sojo Delivery Plans & Shipping Cutoffs: What You Need to Know
Welcome to sojo! We make amenity logistics the least stressful part of your job. Here’s how our delivery plans and shipping cutoffs work—so you’re always stocked and never scrambling.
🔁 Delivery Plans That Fit Your Turnover Process
No two teams operate the same way, and that’s exactly why sojo gives you flexibility. Choose how often you get deliveries—and when they arrive.
📅 Delivery Cadence:
-
Daily
Delivered on a rolling basis, 1–7 days before arrival or departure, depending on your chosen install window. -
Weekly
Delivered on your chosen weekday, covering reservations for the following Monday–Sunday’s arrivals or departures. -
Bi-weekly
Delivered on your chosen weekday, covering reservations for the next two weeks, starting the following Monday. -
Monthly
Delivered during the 4th week of each month, on your selected weekday. Includes orders for the entire following month’s arrivals or departures. -
Quarterly
Delivered on the Wednesday of the final week of each quarter, and includes orders for the entire following quarter’s departures.
🔄 Install Timing:
-
Arrival-based: Your team installs before the guest checks in (ideal if your inspectors handle the install).
-
Departure-based: Your team installs after the guest checks out (great if your cleaners place the product during turnover).
📦 Your Shipping Flow, Step-by-Step
1. Cutoff
The cutoff date is the final day that sojo will account for:
-
New reservations
-
Changes to existing bookings
-
Cancellations
This date is calculated based on your delivery day and transit time from our warehouse in Clarksville, TN, using UPS Ground. See our Transit Time Map here!
📍 Example (Colorado): If your plan is Weekly before departure, delivered on Thursday, and you’re located in Colorado (approx. 3-day transit):
-
Your ship date is Monday.
-
Your cutoff time is Sunday at 11:59 PM.
2. Ship
Your order is shipped 1 day after cutoff, aligned with UPS transit times for your ZIP code.
3. Delivery
Packages arrive based on your chosen delivery day and cadence. The default setup is:
-
Weekly before departure
-
Delivered on Thursdays
But you can customize delivery to match your ops perfectly.
4. Install
Your team installs kits during the turnover process:
-
After guest checkout (departure-based)
-
Before guest arrival (arrival-based)
🕒 What About Last-Minute Reservations?
Not every booking plays by the rules—and that’s okay.
Reservations that come in after the cutoff are still captured by sojo and marked as last-minute.
Here’s what happens:
-
You’ll pull product from your backstock to stock the unit.
-
Our Smart Stock feature:
-
Tracks what you’ve used
-
Logs the product pulled
-
Sends you more when your supply runs low
-

So even when the unexpected happens, you’re covered—without needing to manually adjust a thing.
🔄 Need to Change Your Delivery Plan?
Your delivery plan isn’t set in stone—we know operations evolve, and sojo is built to flex with you.
If your current cadence isn’t working (too frequent, not frequent enough, or just not syncing with your team’s install timing), you can absolutely change your delivery plan at any time.
🗓️ Just a heads up:
Once you make a change, it will take about 3 weeks to go into effect while we work through any existing orders already queued for fulfillment.
